About Lee & Bai Buns and Noodles

Lee & Bai Buns and Noodles is one of the chinese restaurants listed in Long Island City, New York. The business is registered at 42-62 Hunter St, Long Island City, NY 11101; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Long Island City; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 AMโ€“8 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, leenbai.com.

Its Google rating is 3.7 out of 5 from 61 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

There couod be more filling in the pork buns but they're very flavorful. Chengdu pea mixed noodles with pork were good. Also got a Camellia soy milk which was good. Not sure the complaints - we enjoyed everything.

New in LIC, close to subways and buses. It's the soft opening so not everything on the menu is available yet. Their steamed pork buns are delicious and fluffy. It comes in 4 pieces. The spicy beef noodles were tasty too. They have soy milk. Cold ones are bottled.

Buns smaller than I expected so I added a hand for scale for future folks. Good taste in the chengdu braised buns and chengdu pea noodles. Wish they posted a larger sized menu with prices on their TV. You can only get a view of their menu /w prices when you're at the cashier needing to order, can't see it while in line.

happened to drop by during their soft opening and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! ordered their chengdu braised pork bun and special minced noodles + soymilk. all were delish :-) excited to try more of their menu when everything becomes available!

They haven't officially opened yet, but so far I'm so excited for this option because it adds more breakfast options to the area. We got Combo C. We tried the signature Chengdu Braised pork buns, and the chengdu pea mixed noodles. Also got both the Camella tea soy milk and Tieguanyin tea soy milk. Everything was delicious. Hoping to try the congee and other buns in the future. There are a few tables and a restroom here. During the weekends the restaurant was pretty packed, and I don't think they've announced their opening anywhere, so this is just based on people passing by in the neighborhood. During weekday daytime it isn't too busy yet. Since it's early opening, at the moment not all items are available on the menu. When I went, they didn't have the fried dumplings available. The service is good and staff are friendly.
